Creating a 3D shadow box starts with the selection of the colors to fit the design. Quality cardstock is used and cut using one of three production cutting machines. Depending on the number of layers, a design cut can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Once the cardstock is carefully removed from the mat, foam strips are cut, applied to the cardstock, and the pieces are adhered together. The 3D piece is now complete and installed in a 9” x 9” x 2” shadow box.
